Hear from our learners
This one-year Work-Study Programme significantly contributed to my personal and professional growth by enhancing my understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its potential applications. I explored important topics such as machine learning, computer vision, and deep learning. One of the modules touched on YOLOv8, an object detection and classification model in the field of computer vision, which I was able to apply directly in my work. Overall, this programme has been beneficial, especially as AI continues to evolve.— Kelly Kwang, Work-Study Post-Diploma (Specialist Diploma in Applied Generative Artificial Intelligence)
The Work-Study Programme (WSP) has allowed me to advance my studies while gaining valuable experience in the IT industry. The knowledge and skills I acquired enabled me to enter the workforce, where I secured a position as a Software Engineer with a starting salary comparable to that of a degree graduate. Additionally, the programme has prepared me for my Part-time university studies, as my degree aligns with my Specialist Diploma. I am grateful for this opportunity and would highly recommend the programme to others.— Ang Hua Ping, Work-Study Post-Diploma (Specialist Diploma in Applied Generative Artificial Intelligence)
