What is the Early Admissions Exercise?
The Early Admissions Exercise (EAE) allows you to apply to courses in RP based on your interests and aptitudes. You can receive a conditional offer for your dream course prior to your O-Level. Admissions will be based on your final O-Level grades.

Am I eligible?

You qualify for the EAE if you meet the following criteria:
Be a Singaporean Citizen (SC) or Permanent Resident (PR)
Have at least two years of full-time work experience relevant to the full-time diploma courses that you are applying for

The Early Admissions Exercise for Working Adults (EAE WA) is only open to working adults with work experience. Current enrolled students who wish to apply to a different full-time diploma course should apply through the Direct Admissions Exercise (DAE).
Important dates and process
June 2025: Application
The EAE-WA application window will take place from 2 to 29 June 2025.
You can apply online through the EAE Application Portal and indicate up to 3 courses (can be from different polytechnics). Please refer to the User Guide at the portal on how to apply.
You will also need to submit the following write-ups:
Reasons for course selection (up to 600 characters),
Talents and/or achievements (up to 1,000 characters),
Details and description of your current/last job employment (up to 2,000 characters),
Employment records together with your application, as well as employer recommendations, where available.
July to September 2025: Interview and Selection
From July to September, you may be shortlisted to attend an interview. The interview is to:
Provide an interface for you to interact with the interviewers
Allow the interviewers to assess your working experience to determine the relevance of the competencies and skills gained throughout your work to your course of interest

September to October 2025: Offer and Acceptance
The application outcome will be released online through the EAE Application Portal on 9 September 2025.
If your application is successful, you are required to confirm the acceptance of your offer by 17 October 2025 through the EAE Application Portal. A non-response will be deemed as a rejection of the offer.
October 2025: Withdrawal
Should you change your mind after accepting the posting, you are required to submit your withdrawal online via the EAE Application Portal by 17 October 2025.
February 2026: Enrolment
If your conditional offer is confirmed, you will receive an email with instructions on how to complete the online enrolment by the end of February 2026. Find out more about online enrolment here.
